Allan Clarke is an experienced and accredited psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working with adults, adolescents, parents, and neurodivergent individuals. He is the founder of Kildare Psychotherapy & Counselling, a private practice based in Kildare Town offering both in-person and online services across the world. Allan was diagnosed as autistic in adulthood, a lived experience that has helped many neurodivergent clients feel more understood, accepted, and supported in therapy.
In addition to his clinical work, Allan regularly delivers workshops, training, and mental health talks to schools, sports teams, professional organisations, and community groups.

- MSc in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
- BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy – Middlesex University, London
- Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy – PCI College
- Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness
- Certificate in Narrative Therapy
His MSc research dissertation focused on The Prevalence of Internet Gaming Disorder (Video Game Addiction) in Irish Adolescents, exploring behavioural addiction and its developmental impact.

Allan Clarke is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MIACP) and adheres to its Code of Ethics and Practice. He is also a certified trauma specialist and holds full professional insurance. All sessions are conducted in a safe and confidential setting.
